**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate CCTV systems to ensure comprehensive surveillance coverage.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises, identifying potential security risks and implementing appropriate measures.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid assistance when necessary.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as required during incidents or investigations.
- Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and activities for management review.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times, representing the organisation positively.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies is highly desirable.
- Certification in first aid or willingness to undergo training is advantageous.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during long shifts.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
- Must possess a valid security licence as required by local regulations.

**Job Types**: Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.75-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 70 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Birmingham B28: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
