The hotel is one of the most historic sites in Hampshire entwined in the British Royal Family. The site can be traced back to as early as the 800's AD. Today the Estate consists of 91 bedrooms shared between the Main House and The Stables, as well as four unique and flexible function rooms. We are currently recruiting for **Maintenance Assistant** to join our Truly Talented team. **What we offer** - £25,500 per annum - Permanent, full-time contract (40hrs per week). The role will cover both reactive and planned preventative work and involve working closely with all hotel departments to ensure minimum disruption to guests. You’ll support property audits, record benchmarking data such as meter readings and work with the maintenance manager to monitor relevant stock levels. The ideal person for this role will be enthusiastic about change, focused on details and trusting. **The core skills and experience required to succeed**: - Knowledge and experience of plumbing, electrics and decorating are highly important to this role, alongside being enthusiastic, motivated and able to work well under pressure; - Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulation; - We are looking for someone who prides themselves on a high standard of work and has the ability to prioritise their workload efficiently; - Professional & customer focused; - Able to work within a team and on own initiative.
