As part of W hotels in the vibrant St James Quarter and with stunning views over the Scottish capital, our Edinburgh restaurant will be the latest beautiful restaurant to add to our current portfolio in Las Vegas, London, Dubai and Doha as well as planned openings in Bahrain and Riyadh.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager for W Edinburgh and SUSHISAMBA, as Commis Waiter/ress you will be the key link between the Kitchen and our guests on the floor, ensuring they receive their meals in a timely fashion and answering any questions the may have on the dishes.

Joining the team means you will be instrumental to the success of the hotel’s operation and beyond. We are looking for someone who is motivated, has an eye for detail, and would love to develop their hospitality skills

As Commis Waiter/ress, key aspects of your role will include:

- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
- Set tables to service standards
- Answer any questions on the menu selection
- Communicate with the kitchen regarding questions, length of wait, product availability, meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with the food courses and beverages
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass and silver throughout the day
- Restock items
- Follow health and safety guidelines and policies to report accidents and injuries
- Work as a team with the rest of the SUSHISAMBA team, supporting wherever necessary as directed by your manager
