Cafe Supervisor

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe/Kitchen Supervisor to join our team. As a Cafe Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cafe. Your responsibilities will include meal preparation, food preparation, and assisting with various tasks in the kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the culinary industry and a desire to gain experience in a restaurant setting.

**Duties**:

- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes
- Support the kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels
- Help with catering orders and ensure timely delivery of food items
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients
- Collaborate with other team members to provide excellent customer service
- Perform other duties as assigned by the cafe manager

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient workflow
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
