The onboarding team welcomes newly hired employees and executes the onboarding journey; managing the end-to-end onboarding process. As our Onboarding Lead you’ll lead and inspire the Onboarding Coordinators to deliver excellence for the onboarding journey for all new hires.

You’ll be accountable for the onboarding and employment screening for all new starters and ensure the team work to agreed SLAs. Ensuring processes are followed you’ll look for and lead improvements in the processes to ensure an efficient and effective onboarding experience for our new hires. You’ll ensure any system updates around the recruitment and HR systems are carried out in a timely fashion.

Keeping an overview on the status of all hires throughout the onboarding proves you’ll provide regular MI and status updates to the team. As an ambassador for the British Heart Foundation (BHF) you'll represent the Recruitment team positively and professionally to internal and external stakeholders.

**Working arrangements**

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London Office.

The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you must be prepared to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause. Most of our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office each week, on average.

**About you**

With excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills you provide a customer orientated approach in delivery of services and completion of work to agreed time and quality.

You’ll have effective people management experience and previous experience leading a team. With strong communication skills you’ll be able to work across various teams and be able to work under pressure whilst still providing a high standard of service or results.

You’ll be comfortable working on your own initiative and as part of a team.

Knowledgeable on Visas, DBS and employment contracts you’ll have experience working with ATS and HR systems.
