Mosaic Spa & Health Clubs are recruiting a Birthday Party Host/Hostess for London Road Sports Centre in Shrewsbury.
Children birthday parties at the London Road Sports Centre are proving increasingly popular, and so we are looking for bubbly, friendly and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as dedicated Birthday Party Leaders. The role of a Birthday Party Leader is to ensure that everyone attending a birthday party at London Road Sports Centre has great fun within a safe environment. Under the direction of the Senior Leisure Attendant, a Birthday Party Leader has overall responsibility for a party from start to finish, including organisation, preparation, and the actual running of the event.
- Aged sixteen years old or older
- Be self‐motivated and demonstrate good use of initiative
- Display effective leadership skills to take charge of a group of children and run party games
- Be committed to working weekends
- Positive and flexible attitude
- Ability to work well in a team.
- An appreciation of health and safety concerns.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interact with and encourage participation of all party guests
- Take a leadership role in introducing activities for the party
- Greet all guests and parents/family as they arrive
- Establish and maintain good communication with parents throughout the party
- Be responsible for the children’s health and safety throughout the duration of the party
- Prepare party room and materials before event begins
- Clear up after the party so as to leave the room clean, tidy and ready for the next user.
This is a zero-hour contract, pay meets minimum wage dependent upon age.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 3-16 per week
**Salary**: Up to £9.50 per hour
