**Job Summary**
The Door Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of premises, patrons, and staff. This position involves monitoring the entrance and exit points, managing crowd control, and maintaining a safe environment for all visitors. The Door Supervisor will be responsible for enforcing venue policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service.

**Responsibilities**
- Monitor and control access to the venue, ensuring only authorised individuals enter.
- Conduct regular surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems to identify any suspicious behaviour or potential threats.
- Implement crowd control measures during busy periods to maintain order and safety.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary and liaising with emergency services as required.
- Collaborate with management to enforce venue policies regarding age restrictions, dress codes, and conduct.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying and addressing theft or misconduct within the venue.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanour at all times while representing the venue positively.

**Skills**
- Proficient in surveillance techniques and familiar with CCTV operation.
- Strong knowledge of first aid practices and emergency response protocols.
- Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain vigilant in high-pressure situations.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patrons and staff clearly.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address issues efficiently as they arise.
