**Business Analyst - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract**

**This role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.**

We operate an agile working environment, 50% of your time will be working collaboratively with your team at either the Bury St Edmunds office or Burton on Trent Office and 50% can be working from home.

**Role Purpose**

To deliver the business analysis activity required across various initiatives to ensure every Greene King project is successfully delivered. This includes working closely with the business in defining requirements and helping identify, design and implementnew processes and solutions to meet the project objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Execute all business analysis activity as required for a varied set of projects and continuous improvement streams
- Work closely with the Projects, Architecture, Development and Test teams
- Understand the business systems and associated business processes including CRM, ERP, HR & Payroll, EPoS etc
- Capture and validate business requirements from a wide range of stakeholders for projects, initiatives and enhancements, using appropriate business analysis techniques
- Accurately document business requirements (functional, non-functional, data, reporting and transition) and processes ('as is' and 'to be')
- Work with the project team to plan business change and design business process
- Work with multiple third party vendors to deliver world class solutions
- Build and maintain effective relationships across IT and the wider business that can be leveraged to ensure the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.

**About You**
- Experience of managing IT business analysis activity in a fast paced environment with multiple demands
- Experience of delivering multiple projects concurrently working with a combination of permanent and third party resources
- Undertake investigative work to determine business requirements, 'as is' / 'to be' processes and business change in respect of compliance frameworks
- Experience in assessing and evaluating processes with strong competence in technical analysis and complex problem solving
- Ability to identify and design solutions that meet the core business requirements, and that are aligned to both business and IT objectives

Qualified in/studying towards relevant qualifications for the role or equivalent including BCS Business Analysis modules and overall qualification - these are desirable:

- BCS Certificate in Business Analysis Practice
- BCS Certificate in Requirements Engineering
- BCS Certificate in Modelling Business Processes
