My client is seeking a part-qualified Assistant Management Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. This would be the ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic, driven individual looking for a busy, developmental role in a growing business. This is a newrole which will cover a range of month end accounting duties, with scope to develop and progress in the role. Study support is included for CIMA/ACCA as they are looking for someone quite ambitious.
**Salary and benefits**:
Salary - £28-32k DOE plus study support, 25 days holiday, employee discount, pension, parking, 9-5 core hours with flexibility and hybrid working (2 set days in the office).
**Responsibilities include**:

- Reporting directly to the Management Accountant, who leads the Financial Accounting team
- VAT - for both the UK & Irish Companies
- Weekly and monthly stock and sales reporting
- Sales forecasting and analysis
- Management Accounts: Accruals/prepayments, posting journal entries, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations
- Quarterly Royalty reporting
- Completion of ONS (Office of National Statistics) surveys
- Assisting Management Accountant with management reporting (various)
- Assisting with the annual budgeting process
- Resolving audit queries and providing supporting documentation

**Experience & Skill Requirements**:

- Part-qualified accountant - ACCA/CIMA
- Management Accounts experience desirable
- Sales reporting experience essential
- Strong IT skills, notably Excel
- Ability to communicate to different levels in the organisation
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage changing priorities
- Work under own initiative
- Experience in ERP systems (preferably JD Edwards, but not essential)
