**Introduction**:
We're looking for an **Environment Health & Safety (EH&S) Specialist** to be based out of **Bristol** (with option for **Hybrid** working), but supporting all sites across the UK.
**The Role**:
This position will further complement the existing EHS team with consideration of the growth of Boeing activities in the UK. The purpose of the role will be to provide practical support to the on-site EHS specialist, management team and employees to enable us to achieve a high standard of EHS performance.

- Prepares compliance and technical reports to meet Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) regulatory requirements.
- Performs program reviews, investigates incidents and provides corrective action to prevent re occurrence of incidents.
- Evaluates workplace hazards. Provides input to new business opportunities and facilities projects to ensure compliance.
- Conducts education and training to support regulatory and business requirements.
- Evaluates impact of new regulations on company operations.
- Reviews chemical & substance safety data to ensure on site management and use of products meets regulatory requirements.
- Responsibilities will include day-to-day EHS support for risk assessment, COSHH assessments, EHS procedures, communications, EHS inspections, induction training, EHS observations, Emergency procedures, accident investigations, and environmental compliance and sustainability.
This role will work closely with the rest of the regional EHS team.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Key skills will include influencing people, communication, problem solving, pragmatism and flexibility.
- Good IT skills are also important.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Hangar environment experience - preferable.
