We are looking for a Chef/Fish Fryer for our fish and chip takeaway & restaurant. You must have a can-do attitude, and keen to ensure that the food is exceptional.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are followed in the kitchen.
- Supervise kitchen staff and assist in training new team members.
- Manage inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with the head chef to develop new menu items and improve existing dishes.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment to promote efficiency.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a kitchen environment
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on food safety and hospitality
- Leadership abilities to supervise and manage kitchen staff
- Background in restaurant operations and food production
- Excellent team management skills to foster a collaborative work atmosphere
- Familiarity with serving techniques and customer service in a dining setting

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,218.00-£26,483.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
