**Role: Financial Controller**

**Location: Manchester**

Tailor Made Sourcing are delighted to be exclusively working with an exciting industry leading, forward thinking and rapidly growing company based in Manchester in their search for a Financial Controller to join their team.

Working closely with the FD you will be responsible for providing commercially focused support, leading and developing the finance team and finance systems, producing accurate and timely month end management accounts, year-end statutory accounts, and Audit.

**The Role**
- Form a close working relationship with the FD, the finance team and other senior exec's
- Contribute fully to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers
- Ensure that company financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth
- Ensure corporate budgeting processes are carried out and reviewed
- Take ultimate responsibility for the company cash management policies
- Develop skills of the team - identify individual training needs as well as encourage effective teamwork
- Manage, mentor and motivate your team in all aspects of their role - provide constructive feedback, praise and feedback on areas for development

A**bout You**
- ¨ Member of an accountancy body or holder of an equivalent qualification (likely +5 years PQE)
- Exceptional communication skills at all levels
- Experience managing and leading a fast paced Finance team
- Strong IT skills
- Demonstrable ability to work under pressure and evidence critical decision-making
- Energetic, highly motivated, with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success
- Ability to organise own workload and that of their team
- Ability to prioritise work and deliver to tight deadlines
- Able to maintain accurate and timely records as required by the role
