**Junior estimator - York**

**Salary**:£15K - £**20K** plus depending on age and experience**

**Full time - Permanent**

**The Role**:
As a junior estimator, you will provide accurate quotations supported by CAD drawings and then, from receipt of order, ensure excellent customer service is maintained throughout project delivery. It is a requirement to work closely with other departmentsto ensure the coordination of all activities result in meeting customer expectations “right first time” and that the business is profitable for them.

**As a junior estimator you will need**:

- Development of documentation and drawings and accurate quotations to provide to the client at tender stage all to be issued within agreed time frames.
- Ensure all areas, volumes, times, and other figures used to calculate overall costs are accurate and deliverable by the Operations Team
- Upon receipt of the order, provide the Operations Team with a full set of project information documents including BOM’s, CAD drawings and any necessary system schematics.
- From receipt of order, liaise directly with the client and the Operations team to ensure variations are captured and addressed in a timely manner
- A “team player” that enjoys collaborating with colleagues to achieve team result
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and In writing
- The ability to evaluate a drawing.
