**Payroll Assistant Responsibilities**:

- Calculate contractor invoices with speed, accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure that sales invoices are issued on a monthly/ adhoc basis
- Ensure any expense claims have been recharged
- Process contractor timesheets, ensuring that payments are made punctually and accurately
- Liaise with internal staff, clients and contractors directly to resolve timesheet queries
- Report to Payroll Supervisor any outstanding issues and highlight any potential debtor problems
- Validate placement records on sales system
- Ensure contractor bank details are validated and updated on payroll systems
- Send out client invoices
- Maintain and update PO numbers on the payroll system

**About you**:

- Proven experience in a finance team of a small/medium sized company
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Be able to manage a high-volume workload to set timescales
- Strong attention to detail and well organised.
- Able to confidently build relationships with internal teams and contractors.
