Job Profile
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join us. You will join our Emerging Jobs Recruitment Team (EJ) and report to the Head of Employment UK.
You will be based at one of our major Defence & Space UK locations - Portsmouth, Stevenage or Newport - with a hybrid working pattern of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days remote.
The EJ Team source profiles and skills with high strategic value to the long-term ambitions of Airbus. Quite simply, your input will be crucial to the company meeting future challenges and enabling our growth into emerging markets.
You'll do this by understanding the business needs & challenges, highlighting and communicating our Purpose, Values and Mission, defining and implementing the best strategy to source, attract, interview and select only the most talented people to join Airbus.
**Job Requirement**
- Partner with hiring managers to understand the organisation's requirements and help to build job profiles that meet business needs
- Use your relationships with internal stakeholders and your knowledge of the recruitment market to influence the Talent Acquisition approach of the business
- Define the most appropriate sourcing strategy, channels and social media to identify and attract the most talented people (using a mix of passive and active sourcing)
- Create attractive, compliant and diversity-friendly job adverts to promote your vacancies
- Via our Employment Communities of Practice, become a key contributor in innovative, international and cross-divisional talent acquisition and employment marketing projects

This role could involve travel every few months (possibly with an overnight stay) to join meetings and support interviews. Trips will mainly be around our UK sites (in Stevenage, Newport, Portsmouth, Filton, Broughton) but may involve international travel toour other European sites; Toulouse, Paris, Munich, etc.
Skills/Experience Required
Essential
- Extensive recruitment experience, ideally from working as a Recruitment Consultant for a Recruitment Agency
- Some experience of in-house / internal or RPO recruitment
- Strong sourcing and attraction skills, both proactive and reactive - proven experience in sourcing difficult-to-find profiles

Desirable
- Ideally you will have recruited for technical or engineering skills and know what it takes to attract and engage the best people
- A comprehensive understanding of the labour market, the associated challenges and how to overcome them

Essential - Strong experience in a similar role
