We are now looking for an **Associate Data Analyst** to join our Digital, Data and Technology team to help us to achieve this.
HM Land Registry's existing software systems and services form part of the critical national infrastructure, safeguarding land and property ownership valued at £7 trillion. This enables over £1 trillion worth of personal and commercial lending to be securedagainst property across England and Wales.
**Key responsibilities for the Associate Data Analyst**:
As an **Associate Data Analyst**, you will be working as part of the Data Management and Analysis practice in the Digital Data and Technology Directorate (DDaT).
In this role you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a wide variety of data programs, data products and core statistics across HM Land Registry (HMLR) by defining and running complex queries against a wide variety of internal and externaldata sources.
You will carry out analysis against the aggregated datasets using consistent repeatable processes and professional standards, generating outputs that are easily accessible and consumable by internal and external stakeholders.
You will use output from your analysis and research activities to support advice and actionable recommendations that will be used to underpin business delivery, development or change across the organisation.
**What we’re looking for in ourAssociate Data Analyst**:
You will have experience of carrying out data analysis to derive meaningful insight to resolve business problems and experience of using statistics to resolve problems and give business insight. You will have experience of running quality assessments ondata and analysis output and an understanding of statistical methods for sampling, distribution assessment, bias and error.
In addition, you will already have exposure to and knowledge of data specifications, and experience of carrying out data visualisation to provide stakeholders with easy access to, and assimilation of, outcomes of analysis. Experience of using Python or Rand SQL is essential.
