**Role - Nightshift Civil Enforcement Officer**

If so, NSL are currently recruiting for a Nightshift Civil Enforcement Officer.**What you will be doing**
- Our Civil Enforcement Officers are the eyes and ears of the local community, patrolling areas, providing advice to residents, and members of the public, whist enforcing road traffic orders and issuing parking fines. We also manage the council’s Multi story car parks (MSCP) and all Park and Ride sites, offering customer service and maintaining the sites cleanliness.- You will play a significant role in reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality through the enforcement of parking restrictions.- Your night will be spent:

- Enforcing parking restrictions when needed both on street and at our Park and Ride sites.
- Processing Bus Lane/Gate and moving traffic contraventions and printing correspondence relating to the Transport Act 2000 & TMA2004
- Cleaning the Park and Ride sites along with the MSCP
- Monitoring CCTV for the MSCP’s and Park and Ride.
- You will be dealing with members of the public face to face, so customer service must be something you enjoy, sometimes in difficult situations.**Shift patterns/Hours.**
- You will be required to work 4 nights on then 3 off over a 5-week shift pattern, 11 hours each night, including bank holidays. 18:45hrs to 07:00hrs**What you will need**
- You must enjoy dealing with people, be friendly polite, and willing to offer support, advice and assistance to colleagues and customers.
- PC skills are essential for the role as you’ll need to be fully competent using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as web-based programs for issuing moving traffic offences.
- Full UK driving license.
