Compliance Officer

As a Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of care and adherence to policies and procedures within service users' homes. This multifaceted position involves monitoring support to make sure it's aligned with care plans.
There's also a requirement to participate in related recruitment and administrative processes.
This role will involve a mix of working in the community and at the registered office.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Compliance Oversight**:
- Regularly assess and monitor compliance with organizational policies and procedures in service users' homes.
- Conduct audits to ensure the quality and safety of care services provided by direct support teams.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures as needed.
- **Care Plan Alignment**:
- Work closely with direct support teams to ensure that care services align with individualized care plans.
- **Recruitment and Training**:
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure that new hires receive proper orientation and training on policies and procedures.
- **Policy and Procedure Management**:
- Stay informed about relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in social care.
- Arrange training sessions to ensure staff awareness and compliance with regulatory standards.
- **Documentation and Administration**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to compliance activities.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including documentation of incidents, investigations, and corrective actions.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a similar or supervisory role within the social care sector.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in recruitment processes and staff training is an advantage.
**Working Conditions**:
- The role involves travel to service users' homes.
- Flexible working hours may be required.
**Salary**: From £22,750.00 per year
