We are looking to hire a Junior Supply Chain Planning Analyst who will be responsible for managing the day-to-day forecasting and ordering of food ,working closely with the supply chain & procurement teams as well as liaising with the clients to ensure there is availability of food as per their requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with the client team to understand the product requirements across all service centres
- Accountable for monitoring actions driven by product supply and service level reports to ensure continuity of supply
- Manage assigned product categories
- Review and order in line with client requirements, inventory levels & supplier lead times
- Manage stock levels in line with client’s seasonal menu changes, robust process to ensure no residual stock
- Ensuring suppliers have the necessary product & volume information to ensure availability of stock as per the client’s requirement
- Liaise with third party goods in & inventory teams.
- Drive improvements in product availability levels through monitoring of inbound service levels and expediting issues with suppliers
- Liaising with relevant stakeholders to ensure forecasts are as accurate as possible & stock counts are accurate.
- Supplier management via close working relationships, daily contact, supplier meetings, visits.
- Maintaining product trackers to ensure stock is kept at optimum levels.
- Maintenance & set up of product information on both ordering platforms & inventory/shippingsoftware.
- Endeavour to ensure products are available through the most appropriate route to market
- Ensuring current product SKU’s are maintained and communicated effectively when changes are implemented.
- Liaise with client to advise of any stock issues which will affect availability to trains.
- Liaise with third party Inventory & Operational teams to understand operational and stock level issues
- Pro-actively manage supply issues to support the wider team
- Actively communicate and contribute to the wider team ensuring all stakeholders are aware and informed at all times.

**Experience/Skills required**:

- Previous experience of working in a supply chain role
- Excellent communication skills both written & oral.
- Preferred food background
- Attention to detail
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Well organised and logical thinker
- Team Player
- Good all-round knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications especially Excel
- Good interpersonal skills
- Works well under pressure
