Operational Risk Analyst

To support to the Operational Risk Manager in respect of:
**-**Maintaining and controlling the Enterprise Risk Management Systems.
- Performing 2nd line assurance.
- Support the RCSA consolidation and development.
- Guide and support the business in strengthening and assessing their 1st level controls.
- Preparing accurate KPI and KRI reports and slide decks which concisely share the findings and prompt discussion where needed.
- Complete activities to the required standard and deadlines.
- Support and train Risk Champions and Risk Owners -Escalate concerns
- Perform the 2nd line of assurance by capturing evidence that policies, procedures and risk controls are in place and respected. To be documented in a report with an assessment and recommendations.

Present findings.
- Approve actions which align with the recommendation and ensure the Enterprise Risk Management System reflects this and validate closure.
- Reported incidents are to be captured and drawn to conclusion.
- Support the business with Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSAs): Collaborate with Risk Owners to promote hierarchical first level controls with timely results and improvement plans where required.
- Support Risk Owners with handovers, procedure writing and use of risk reporting tools.
- Maintain the Enterprise Risk Management System including training Risk Owners on use to ensure system is kept updated.
- Administer the procedure library and ensure formal and timely validation of these documents and provide guidance to strengthen the contents.
- Complete the Operational Risk Team first level controls.
- Prepare reports and slides for Committees within the timescales given, including ad hoc reports as required.
- Liaise with the HQ Steering function, respond to regular and adhoc requests for information; oversee implementation of group principles.
- Other issues as they arise.
