The school are wanting someone who is proactive and engaging in all lessons throughout the day. You must have good confidence and a drive for children to do well in their learning.
- Have previous experience supporting teaching and learning or supporting pupils 1:1
- Have good knowledge of the primary curriculum throughout school
- Be confident to deliver activities 1 to 1 and a small group basis
- Be an integral part of teaching and learning to support a range of pupils
- Have a DBS on the update service
Your responsibilities will include:
- Classroom and individual pupil support
- Organisation of resources and classroom aids
- Cover some classes when needed
- Engaging pupils into their learning
- Supporting behaviour and emotional support through activities and creating close relationships
- Some break/lunch time supervision
