A popular primary school based in Leeds are seeking a special needs teaching assistant to support pupils during lesson times. The school are wanting individuals who have strong behaviour management skills and good knowledge of SEN needs within school.
- Have previous experience supporting teaching and learning or supporting pupils
- Have good knowledge of SEN Needs particularly at primary age
- Be confident to deliver activities 1 to 1 and a small group basis
- Have a DBS on the update service

Your responsibilities will include:

- Classroom and individual support
- Organisation of resources and classroom aids
- Engaging pupils into their learning
- Supporting behaviour and emotional support through activities and creating a close relationship
- Some break/lunch time supervision
