**About The Role**:
**Title: Cleaning Operative**

**Location: Peterlee, **SR8 2HX**

**Pay: £12.65**

**Shift: Monday to Thursday 15.30 - 23.30 and Friday 13.00 - 18.30**

**Purpose**:To ensure that all required cleaning duties are carried out to the highest standard and in line with Company and Client procedures

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Follow the cleaning specification
- Visually inspections of your area and report defects to your reporting line manager.
- Ensure that cleaning consumables replenished and any shortages reported to the line manager in a timely manner.
- Report any areas of concern to Line Manager;
- Ensure that all chemicals and products used for cleaning are stored and used according to the manufacturer’s instructions and directions to ensure a safe working environment and minimise risk of accident and injury;
- Maintain and store all allocated equipment an ensure that appropriate, well-maintained and properly serviced equipment is used at all times;
- Attend all training as required
- Complete all required records and documentation and ensure there are clear logs of all the tasks completed
- Comply with Health & Safety Legislation
- Comply with Company and Client policies and procedures
- Any other duties commensurate with the grade and as required by the nature of the role
