Are you feeling ready for a fresh start in your career? If you're seeking a team that values flexibility and work-life balance, we have an exciting hybrid opportunity that might be perfect for you On behalf of our client, we're thrilled to present a brand-new opening for a full-time Category Operations Manager role, working closely with high street retailers.
As the Category Operations Manager, you'll play a crucial role in supporting a Category Manager. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating on the creation, review, and implementation of ranges for their household name clients. Additionally, you'll be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate communication with the company, clients, retail, wholesale, and other key stakeholders. Reporting accurate data against the KPIs and handling ad hoc requests to support the wider Category Management team will also fall within your scope.
Now, let's talk about the benefits you'll enjoy as part of the team. My client believes in investing in our employees. That's why they offer comprehensive training programs to help you excel in your role. Moreover, they provide a range of flexible benefits, which you can personalise based on your lifestyle. From private medical insurance and holiday purchase options to a tech scheme, they have got you covered. Additional perks include 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rata), a confidential Employee Assistance Programme, and coaching sessions with accredited coaches.
Here are a few more essential details about the role: While it involves a mix of office and work-from-home arrangements, occasional travel may be required.
Now, let's talk about the skills we're looking for. As our Category Operations Manager, you'll need to demonstrate the following qualities:
- Excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical, numerical, and planning skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ownership, proactivity, and enthusiasm
- Adaptability to different situations
- Interpersonal sensitivity, working well within a team, and sharing best practices
This role could suit a customer focused Senior Administrator who loves the detail or someone who has worked within a senior data role and would like to take it to the next step. We can be open to experience if you can demonstrate the above skills within a work environment and a desire to learn a new role.
