**JOB ROLE: Security Contract Support Officer**

**LOCATION: NORWICH and NORFOLK**

**HOURS OF WORK: 12 hr day and night shifts as per monthly roster**

- **The Role**:
We are recruiting for passionate and driven Security Officers to work with us across our client sites within Norwich and across Norfolk. The hours for this role will vary from time to time but will be predominantly 12 hour day, weekend and night shifts.

A current SIA Static or Door Supervision licence is required as is the ability to commute to several locations around Norwich and across Norfolk. The successful applicant will have great communication skills, be IT literate and have customer facing experience, as is the ability to work well under pressure.

**Job Description & Basic Duty Summary**

Job Purpose: To provide a proactive security presence across our client sites, working to the site security instructions at all times to ensure that our client’s premises are protected and secure at all times.
- Carry out all site Security duties in line with the company’s policies and procedures.
- Customer Service delivery
- Control access out of hours in line with site instructions
- Regular foot patrols of the premises and/or buildings
- Ensure required site Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Other duties include, but not limited to: Weighbridge operations, Reception duties, Access control, call handling, greeting visitors and contractors along with issuing visitor passes and site inductions.
- Accurate completion of site incident reports and other site paperwork as set out by the Company and it's clients.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- A good working knowledge in the security industry. ( Preferred )
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency procedures ( Essential )
- Organised and able to prioritize ( Essential )
- Great interpersonal and customer facing skills. ( Essential )
- Excellent timekeeping and a flexible approach to work ( Essential )
- Proven record in a customer/Client focused role ( preferred )
- IT literate ( preferred )
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Own transport essential

**REQUIREMENTS OF THE SECURITY OFFICER**
- Vetted to BS7858 Standard with 5 year checkable work history
- Clear communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- High Level IT Skills

**Salary**: £9.50-£10.50 per hour
