An exciting opportunity has become available to join our team of Emergency Care Practitioners working within our Urgent Treatment Centres (UTC) at The Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals NHS Trust, Wolverhampton, which includes the Phoenix and New Cross sites. Both centres serve the population of Wolverhampton and surrounding areas, providing care to patients with minor illnesses and injuries. - Non-Medical Prescriber
- Experience in Primary Care
- Experience in an urgent care setting such as Out of Hours, an Urgent Treatment Centre or emergency Department
- Excellent knowledge and experience in the assessment and management of minor injury and illness presentations
- Experience of working in an MDT, including mentoring of junior staff
We are looking for suitably qualified health professionals who are passionate about their role, professional development and achieving better outcomes for patients.
The Urgent Treatment Centre at New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Urgent Treatment Centre at Phoenix Health Centre is open 08.00- 20.30hrs, 7 days a week throughout the year. The position will be on a rostered basis 24 hrs per day, 7 days per week throughout the year working across both sites.
