The successful candidate will be an experienced critical care nurse with a high level of knowledge surrounding the deteriorating patient. They will be required to drive early recognition and management of the deteriorating patient at ward level. The successful applicant will be part of a specialist nursing team who provide 7 day's a week, twenty four hour service provision and they will be required to work flexibly. Excellent communication skills are essential to facilitate the effective multi-disciplinary approach in the recognition, escalation and management of the Deteriorating Patients Trust wide. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the critical care outreach team for a dynamic, innovative and enthusiastic individual who will take on the role of a band 6 critical care outreach practitioner. We are looking for a self‑motivated, adaptable and knowledgeable registered nurse who is clinically confident, who can work independently but also as part of a team. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong decision making ability and clinical expertise, together with a drive and passion for improving the way healthcare is provided.
