Logistics Operations Manager

Hours: 06.30-17.00 Monday to Friday - no weekend work
- Implement warehouse system improvements for electronic order picking & despatch via hand held mobile scanning devices (Currently in progress)
- FORS accreditation

Your role:

- Delivery routing & driver/vehicle utilization
- Supervise delivery vehicle loading/unloading
- Liaison with Sales Support to ensure inter-departmental alignment
- Arranging carrier consignments/deliveries
- Oversee stock transfers between the 2 locations
- Delivery fleet management including liaising with external partners for servicing etc
- Arranging agency drivers and cover staff
- Health & Safety responsibility for yard & warehouse
- Assist with Order picking & fork lift driving when required

The person:

- Experience in a similar role
- Staff management experience
- Fork lift licence
- Works with integrity and to please the customer
- Excellent communicator

Other:

- Hours: 06.30-17.00 Monday to Friday including additional input as required by the demands of the role
- 28 days per annum paid holiday including Bank holidays. Up to 5 additional days holiday per annum can be secured using our Holiday flex scheme
- No weekend work
