**Key Duties of a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Bodyshop Estimator**:
- Providing quotations on work to be carried out on various vehicle repairs
- Recording a list of damages that need to be repaired using digital tools and recording devices
- Calculating the time required to complete the repairs and leaising with bodyshop manager on the repair times
- Liaising with Insurance companies
**What you must have**
- A passion for the automotive industry and previous experience of working within it. (ideally in the key disciplines of auto repair - mechanical, panel or paint).
- A positive attitude and a hunger to learn and progress
- Great communication skills and and ability to connect with people
- Customer service skills
- An attention to detail and a willingness to see a job to completion
- Flexibility and adaptability - a willingness to get stuck in and help out
**It would be highly advantageous to have**
- Previous experience as a Bodyshop Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor
- Previous experience on the workshop floor of a bodyshop
- Be experienced in using Audatex estimating software
- Hold a full driving licence
- Have an ATA qualification
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
