About the role as a Motor Vehicle Teacher/Assessor We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Assessor in Motor Vehicle to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for the teaching, training, and assessment of learners, while inspiring them to develop the skills they need for a successful career in the industry You will manage one or more learner cohorts on site, supporting them through all stages of their learning journey, from induction through to achievement. You will take the lead in the delivery and development of the Motor Vehicle curriculum, ensuring that every learner has an outstanding experience. Your responsibilities will also include: Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment in Motor Vehicle subjects Manage and support cohorts of learners on-site Plan, develop and review course content to ensure relevance and engagement Conduct workplace assessments in line with awarding body requirements Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback and support Maintain accurate records and contribute to internal quality assurance processes Engage with Employers and Industry Partners This role is full time, permanent based at Banbury college. Annual salary up to £43,869 depending on your qualifications and experience. What do you need to be a successful Motor Vehicle Assessor at Activate Learning? Assessor qualification (e.g. TAQA, A1 or equivalent) Experience working with Apprentices in a teaching, assessing, or mentoring capacity Relevant industry experience within the Motor Vehicle sector GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths Who we are Activate Learning is a pioneering education group with a global reach, committed to transforming lives through our approach to learning.
