A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join the team to enable the company to deliver on its vision of being the best quality brand in bakery, by delivering HR plans that support the delivery of business strategy through maximisingthe organisations capability and resource and ensuring quality is at the heart of everything we do.

Working with the central support and Supply Chain HR teams, some of the key accountabilities include;
- Driving HR excellence and process efficiency
- Delivery of the people strategy, ensuring best practice HR excellence, supporting the delivery of business goals, and ensuring consistency and value added support in all areas of HR including Employee Relations.
- Delivery of collaborative working practices that deliver continuous improvement in all areas of HR operations
- Ensuring simplification and simplicity in approach, to enable effective focus and delivery of business objectives
- Supporting all central and support programmes to deliver best in class performance
- Identifying the key challenges that the business is facing and aligning HR to deliver solutions.
- Management of the Apprenticeship programme

Ideal experiences / Qualifications / capabilities:

- Graduate / CIPD qualified
- Experience in FMCG - ideally manufacturing and food
- Test employee relations experience
- Delivery of change management programmes
- Experience in TU negotiations - pay awards and T&C reviews
- Strong knowledge of employment law
- Performance management techniques
- Resourcing experience at all levels
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills - ability to influence and persuade
- Results oriented, resilient and highly motivated
