Within this opportunity you will play a key role in developing, communicating, and leading on the delivery of a compelling product vision for your assigned business areas. You will be a key individual in our vision of delivering a high-quality ICT offering for our customers helping to deliver something tremendous which will help our teams to improve lives.

If you have a proven track record of bringing people together, understanding the needs of competing stakeholders and the ability to translate these elements into a working solution, then you are the type of person we need. Agile, able to react to shifting requirements, yet possessing an ability to communicate and deliver clearly and successfully you will gather a significant understanding of how a complex care and housing organisation operates and be an integral part of a team delivering varied solutions that enable our staff to deliver excellent services to our customers.

To be really successful in this role you’ll need to be confident in communicating at all levels, able to understand the strategic aims of the stakeholders you work with, be able to translate business needs into technical requirements, work methodically, collaboratively and under pressure as well as possessing sound knowledge of different project methodologies.

We’re looking for a highly motivated individual with the key skills and experience to:

- Identify business need for new services or existing service improvements
- Explain technology solutions in business terms
- Work through ambiguity bringing teams of people with you
- Collaborate effectively with a range of multi-disciplined teams
- lead in an IT environment.

We also welcome applicants from outside ICT who may have transferrable skills, for example you may have worked within ICT or project environments within public sector, corporate environments or other care and housing providers. Work life balance is important at Longhurst Group, in this role you’ll be based from home (36.25hrs per week) however face to face meetings with the team and stakeholders are encouraged
