**Responsibilities**:
Do you want to work for a caring organisation that believes in people? Do you want to make a difference? As a Recovery Coordinator with Change Grow Live in Tameside, you will work with people across the borough, helping them to change direction and grow as a person.
In this role at CGL My Recovery Tameside, you will be working as part of a Team, based in one of our two hubs in Ashton or Hyde, and will be providing individuals with Alcohol and drug support.
Reporting to the Team Leader, the successful applicant will have care coordination responsibilities, as well as spending time recovery planning, assessing risk to clients, and reviewing their progress to ensure they are on the right path. You will be working closely with your colleagues, including nurses, doctors, and volunteers, as well as external partner agencies to ensure your clients are provided with a comprehensive package of care.
You will be committed to a positive and empowering approach to care and will work with service users to initiate their recovery, enabling them to move into long-term sustained recovery and social (re)integration.
Experience of working in substance misuse is required for this role, we are looking for individuals who are caring, non-judgmental and supportive.
