Care Assistant

Lovett Care is seeking Care Assistants to join our amazing team at Eden Manor Care Home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Health and Social Care Professional to work in partnership with our team to deliver quality care for a diverse group of residents.

**These positions are for 38.5 hours per week, over 3-4 days at £12 per hour, PLUS £1000 Golden Hello**

You will have previous experience as a carer or similar role, however full training is always given. To discuss this exciting opportunity further, please forward your CV to Hannah Riley, General Manager.

**What a typical day looks like?**
- Provide high quality care in accordance with current best practices
- Ensure residents are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their well being
- Ensure that all required standards are maintained
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of individuals you support
- Develop effective working relationships with all team members
- Assist in the support of new care team members to their job role
- Maintain accurate documentation on pcs at the point of care delivery
- Support residents to maintain a high standard of personal care, hygiene, and physical wellbeing
- Ensure resident’s aids and equipment are maintained e.g., glasses, wheelchairs, dentures
- Respond immediately to any concerns that may pose a risk to health, safety and wellbeing of residents, visitors, or your team
- Dispense medication following Lovett Care policies and procedures
- Maintain the confidentiality of information
- Completion of mandatory E-Learnings
- To embed and demonstrate our company values throughout your working day

**What experience do I need?**
- Experience of working in a care environment _(Preferred, however full training is given)_
- Experience in a care or support role _(preferred)_
- Experience in a customer facing environment
