**Bank hours (working weekdays 7:30am to 3pm as and when required).** **Working in our retirement village in Sandford Station.** Our Housekeepers tell us that their job is hands-on, practical, busy and there’s never a dull moment. The team have a strong sense of "looking out for each-other" and "pulling together to get things done". The most rewarding part of their role though, isgetting to know our residents, who value the Housekeepers in the way they build relationships of "trust and respect" and are always "willing to help". The role includes cleaning residents’ rooms, communal areas such as offices, dining rooms, hallways and receptions and helping with food. You’ll be a practical person with the ability to think on your feet and respond quickly - sometimes needing to dropall your well-planned tasks to attend to something at short notice. Experience of working with older people and/or people with dementia is desirable but not essential. Full training is provided.
