**Job Summary**

ECT Limited is one of the largest suppliers of Energy Consultancy Services throughout the UK offering a broad range of professional services from Domestic & Commercial EPC's to Energy Audits. Due to recent expansion, we are looking to recruit a Trainee Energy Surveyor to join our energy team.

**The role**
- Using a handheld device to assess the construction and energy characteristics of buildings
- Surveying circa 20 properties a week around your region
- Submitting accurate survey data
- Working closely with colleagues to understand energy saving methods
- Detailing energy-saving methods and concepts from data captured during the survey
- Ensuring weekly checks are completed on company vehicles and the office are notified of any maintenance required

**Qualifications and Skills**

Previous experience in an energy or surveying role is preferred but not crucial.

Essential Skills:

- A full driving license
- Ability to self-motivate and work on your own initiative
- An analytical and problem-solving mind
- Ability to organise daily workloads and work to specific deadlines
- Communicate confidently and professionally with colleagues/customers & clients
- Provide detailed information relating to surveys/assessments undertaken
- Reliable, professional and flexible
- Desire and drive to develop your abilities with the goal being a long-term career

**Training**
- You will initially attend a week-long training course where you will receive a City and Guilds Qualification
- You must ensure that your evidence portfolio is completed within 2 weeks of your training course
- 2 weeks further training will be given on site, with a Senior Field Surveyor
- This training will be completed within the Senior Field Surveyor's working area and will require you to stay over for 2 weeks - hotel and meal expenses covered

Pay: From £25,500.00 per year
