**JOB OVERVIEW**

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Quality Assurance Coordinator with excellent organisational and communication skills and good understanding of analytical quality control processes and controls.

Working as a Quality Assurance Coordinator you will be required to maintain and ensure adequacy and effectiveness of the Quality Management System for the company.

As a Quality Assurance Coordinator you will be monitoring non-conformances and planned deviations, specifically, close outs to be investigated thoroughly and conducted in a timely manner.

**DUTIES**

Your duties as a Quality Assurance Coordinator will include:

- Adhere to a robust audit schedule and perform internal audits/spot checks within a planned timescale. Production of audit reports
- Monitoring of non-conformances and planned deviations. Specifically, close outs to be investigated thoroughly and conducted in a timely manner
- Monitoring of change control; ensuring changes are logged and reviewed for impact on the business management systems and are closed in a timely manner
- Maintenance of the document control system
- Participation in investigations of customer feedback and complaints
- Supplier reviews
- Trend analysis
- Maintenance of Health and Safety / CoSHH records incl. recording of accidents
- Monitoring of equipment records
- Monitoring of staff training
- To ensure commitment to impartiality and confidentiality, integrity and accessibility of information
- Adhering to all policy, procedure, regulatory, customer and standard requirements relating to quality, information

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- Relevant scientific degree, or equivalent is essential
- Demonstrable experience of ISO 17025:2017 accreditation within the laboratory environment is essential
- Also experience of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016, ISO14001:2015 and ISO 27001:2013 is desirable
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Diplomatic and proactive
- Understanding of analytical quality control processes and controls
- Familiarity with statistical analysis
- Evidence of people management
- Competent in use of Microsoft Office
- Previous participation in internal and external audits
