**Opportunity, Quantity Surveyor**

We are working with a top 10 main contractor that turns over in exess of a billion. They have a flagship scheme based in East London which is a mixed-use residential major project. This could be an ideal opportunity for a quantity surveyor to enhance theirskills and be a part of an amazing team and company. The company provides excellent salary and benefits for the right quantity surveyor.

**Responsibilities, Quantity Surveyor**
- Achieve the appropriate commercial result through the provision of accurate financial reporting
- Ability to manage subcontractor supplier accounts
- Understand fully the customer’s needs and ensure effective relationships are built and maintained by consistently high customer service and on site delivery Provide support to the site team on contract requirements
- Identify, secure and deliver the business forecast in both turnover and margin Place subcontract orders in accordance with the main contract and manage subcontractor accounts ensuring payments are timely and correct and any other commercial issues are resolved
- Monitor subcontractor against programme
- Get the most competitive quotes by having market knowledge
- Ensure all contractual requirements are adhered to.
- Implement and monitor all systems and procedures and ensure effective operation
- Liaise with the customer, customer representatives and other third parties on commercial issues, including agreement of variations, claims and additional payments
- Final accounts

**Requirements, Quantity Surveyor**
- HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying (or other commercially related discipline) RICS accredited
- Appropriate CSCS card
- Knowledge of the procurement of sub-contractors
- Mixed use/residential
- New Build experience
- Ability to manage subcontractors
- JCT Or Nec Experience
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a main contractor environment
