Job Introduction
As a **Administrator **you’ll join a team who are focused on _delivering impeccable customer service to our service users _to really make our service users and staff feel the difference.
We are a small team in a quaint village with a community feel.
Main Responsibilities
As a receptionist, your main duties will include:
- Receive and book in patients
- Provide and receive information face to face, over the telephone, in writing or by electronic mediums from patients
- Explain practice arrangements and formal requirements to new patients, ensuring that they are given an invitation for a new registration health check and ensure that registration procedures are completed.
- Supporting a varied, complex and changeable service.
- Information governance policies and procedures
- Answering telephone calls in a timely and appropriate manner
- Liaising with reception/admin team, providing the required cover and being flexible during emergencies.
- Process referrals and process workflow
- Work collaboratively as a team member to achieve the objectives of the Medical Services contract and aspirations of the team
- General admin duties
- Experience in this role is desirable but not essential.
- You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Good customer service skills
- Good communication skills
