**Job Purpose**:
To manage the day-to-day transactions of the Finance department. Assisting the Finance Director in managing, processing and troubleshooting various accounts and transactions.

**Duties**:

- To administer all functions of the purchase ledger, cash book and daily reconciliation of bank accounts
- Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed
- Reconcile bank statements
- Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets
- Review and audit financial statements and reports, ensure all calculations and data entries are correct
- Suggest changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions
- Process supplier payments
- Provide administrative support to Finance team and Finance Director
- Support sales ledger management and credit control
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure accurate information is received on time
- Posting month end & year end journals
- Day to day filing & office administration
- Management of company credit card payments and reconciliations

**Key Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:

- Previous experience working in a Finance team
- May have a desire to work towards an accounting qualification
- Knowledge and understanding of financial regulations and legislation
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritise
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, at all business levels
- Strong attention to detail
- Analytical skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Computer literate with experience of using Word and Excel, as well as financial software
