A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a D&I Specialist to join a close-knit, friendly and supportive team of HR and become an integrated part of their team. You will be responsible for implementing several D&I projects that support the broader D&I strategyand be part of the wider Talent Development team which sits within HR.
Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Actively contribute to the delivery of company-wide D&I priorities
- Keeping up to date in key developments, research and best-practice in the field of D&I
- Take direct responsibility for driving some of the key initiatives
People networks
- Actively engage people networks across the business to deliver and embed network strategies
- Maintain project oversight, stakeholder maps and engagement plans.
- Build strong relationships with People Network leaders across all geographies at DLA Piper
- Provide D&I specialist advice to those in the networks who are organising events (e.g. provide context and best practice in relation to important dates in the D&I calendar)
- Identify areas for collaboration across the networks/countries and wider HR function
Attributes/Skills Required:

- Have designed and implemented D&I projects and initiatives across a complex business
- Confident in working and influencing senior stakeholders
- Have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for Diversity and Inclusion
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and be fluent in English
- Being able to quickly build relationships at all levels and influence, persuade and coach
- Be able to exercise empathy, discretion and sensitivity
- Have a strategic mindset
- Have an knowledge of D&I best practices and linkages to HR practices
