**Operations Manager - Digital Agency**
Red Balloon Design, a full-stack digital and creative agency based in Reading that specialise in website design and development for global brands, start-ups, and local SMEs, as well as providing digital marketing and general design services requires an operationsmanager to help them manage the entire website process across their small, multi-disciplinary team of designers and developers, for both new projects and ongoing support and ad-hoc updates.
The Operations manager will be working closely with the director, you’ll ensure that all the requirements are understood and accounted for in the design, build, testing and deployment. The Operations Manager will be the key player in ensuring accurate projectdocumentation and information is prepared and their team and client are in-tune with the objectives and expectations, so that work can be carried out end-to-end seamlessly.
You’ll be co-ordinating between various internal and external stakeholders, with excellent communication skills, a close eye for detail and the passion to provide great experiences both to their clients and their audiences. You’ll be responsible for the operationalsuccess of our projects.
As the Operations Manager for a small team, there’ll be project management involved to ensure that the team is on track with agreed plans. You’ll ensure that requirements are met, work is on track and to spec and the team are maximising their productivity whilstworking to best practices.
Red Balloon Design are a nimble, experienced team of creatives and developers. They build sites on WordPress and work with major global brands as well as local enterprises and charities on bespoke websites and digital marketing, which contain a wide array offunctionality; from store fronts and subscription platforms to consumer facing landing pages and content managed websites and blogs. They use a mix of agile and waterfall methodologies to meet the complex problems they face. Their philosophy is to make liveseasy for everyone who interacts with their products and services, and they enjoy creating high impact work that people love.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Gather and address technical and design requirements
- Maintain high levels of up-to-date knowledge of best practices and strategies in the development of modern websites
- Closely involve relevant stakeholders to identify, assess and mitigate impacts of change, in particular using their expertise and influence to bring about effective resolution to negative impacts
- Help produce scopes of work and proposals based on strategy and recommendations
- Work cross functionally across teams to educate on initiatives and explaining methods for design and development
- Look for gaps in efficiencies, process and deliverables and support the team in finding solutions and improving our offering
- Ensure websites are tested, content has been added accurately and any issues found are accounted for and resolved by the team.

**The Person**:

- Previous experience with managing teams of designers and developers
- Previous experience with enterprise level website development and/or CRO campaigns
- In-depth understanding of various technologies in web development (CMS, analytics, automations)
- Maintain high levels of up-to-date knowledge of best practices and strategies in the development of modern websites
- Ideally proficient in HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, PHP, mySQL and JS.
- Ability to analyse, make decisions, prioritise, assess and mitigate risk.
- Seeks opportunities and finds fitting solutions to complex problems.
- Understands new technical systems and processes and how they interact with each other.
- Conscious of the user experience and customer journey in the success of a digital product.

**Package includes**:

- Salary: £45,000-50,000
