**Your New Role**

Do you have experience in supporting all HR operations to ensure they’re aligned with business goals? Our new HR Advisor will not be afraid to challenge and be proactive to suggest solutions
Reporting into our HR Business Partner your new role as the HR Advisor will be supporting our Aerospace & Defence and Group division being their first point of contact for specialist advice with passion and commitment to provide a consistent great customer experience and making sure our services deliver optimally meeting all policy and compliance requirements Based at our site in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire you will work alongside and partner with our HRBP and A&D and Group Leadership Team. This roles comes with opportunity of extension or permanency at the end of contract depending on business needs
Your role advises on HR policy and assists with implementation of HR procedures and processes, including case management. You will work directly and coach our current and new managers by providing policy and process support and advice across the full range of employee lifecycle process. This role requires specialist knowledge of the legal framework for at least one country within the Survitec business landscape.
**What You Can Expect from the Role**
**Key Responsibilities and accountabilities**:
- Works within established HR policies and processes to achieve specified goals
- Contributes to the drafting of transactional HR processes and tools within own area of expertise, ensuring compliance with specified design principles, internal policies and external legal requirements
- Resolves queries from internal customers by providing information on complex processes and the related policies, referring to others where necessary for interpretation of policy
- Delivers complex analyses of HR data; identifies key trends and contribute to the creation of HR insights that enable the diagnosis of business issues, enhancement of employee engagement, and/or improvement of business performance
- Provides advice and guidance to managers in developing, documenting, and communicating solutions (including disciplinary action) for individual Employee Relations cases; supports managers at formal hearings
- Carries out complex HR data processing tasks; advises colleagues when needed and uses expertise to help improve data collection tools and administration processes
- Develops own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfil personal potential.
- Maintains an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
- You will be involved with our local union supporting wage negotiations & agreements
- Builds effective working relationships within the internal client organisation, delivering high quality professional services with guidance from senior colleagues

**The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have**
**Essential Criteria**
- 3+ years of HR Generalist advisory experience in a Group/Shared Services environment
- Experience coaching & training new managers
- Experience within a high-volume employee environment
- Talent Management and onboarding experience
- Knowledge of the HR life cycle
- Excellent HRIS knowledge and analytical skills
- Professional and flexible approach to work and to managing customer needs
- Confident and strong minded with excellent judgement skills to know when to push back or drive
**Desirable Criteria**
- CIPD Qualified or Third Level Education within a HR Discipline
- Manufacturing Experience
- International experience or EU Law e
