Learning Support Assistants

We at ASQ Education are looking to recruit graduates to start as Learning Support Assistants to assist within the SEND department of a fantastic school in a stunning part of South London. The role would require you to start at the beginning of the next academicyear.
To be considered for this role the school would prefer you to have relative experience working with children or young people who experience mild to severe learning differences either in schools, colleges or HEIs. Applicants who have recently graduated withat least a Lower-Second Class Honours are always welcome to apply
**The Role**
The position is based in a prestigious independent school in South London and has cutting-edge facilities available to its staff & pupils. The school are very proud of its SEND Team and is looking for an individual who is both dependable and sensible. Thereis also an opportunity that the school could decide to take you on permanently.
This is a role that necessitates you to have a real desire to support young and vulnerable students during their time in school. As an LSA, you will play the leading role in helping to contribute to the daily learning experiences and overall student development.
To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate:
- Experience and knowledge of working within a SEND department or working with pupils who may have learning differences (Essential)
- To understand and approach personal care duties with the appropriate attitude & decorum
- The ability to support your key students in multiple settings: 1:1, within group settings and inside the classroom environment
- To use your initiative and lead by example
- To be friendly and professional in your approach to staff & pupils alike
- You must have excellent time management and organizational skills
- You must always carry yourself in a friendly and professional manner
