Lara Search are currently recruiting for four learning support assistants, on behalf of a vocational training & apprenticeship provision for 16-24 year olds in Waltham Forest.

**Job Details**:

- You will be required to work from 2-5 days a week to suit your availability.
- This provision supports learners whom have a key interest within the creative industries, namely gaming, music & media.
- The learners have a variety of needs including autism, comprehension delay, challenging behaviour, dyslexia and learning difficulties.
- This role will be on a part-time basis and will commence immediately.
- The hours are 9am - 5pm
- To be considered for this role you will need to have Maths and English at GCSE grade C and above and educated to degree level or have extensive experience supporting SEND students.
- Have a personality
- Be confident with strong behaviour and classroom management
- Be from a creative background or have a key interest in the creative industries
- Have excellent timekeeping
- Able to use own initiative
- 100% attendance
- Great interest in making a difference
- Act as a great role model for the learners.
- Passion for supporting children with special needs

This role could be suitable for someone with a background in youth work.
