**The role**
The Head of Memberships & Global Tier will be a part of our Senior Management Team with responsibility of the management of the Membership Services Team and to deliver department goals. You will be ensuring a proactive and resourceful approach by all team members to achieve membership renewal, sales objectives, contribution to events and campaigns.
You will regularly review and manage the affinity schemes relating to membership benefits for all tiers and working with International Trade Services colleagues to identify opportunities for global membership and new services development.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Budget responsibility for the department renewal and sales income (reporting to Board level)
- Member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) responsible for working collectively to drive organisational change projects
- Goal setting, performance management and department appraisals
- To undertake proactive sales/account management activity for global members to target
- Deliver events/activities as required and global related events and activities agreed with International Trade
- Collaborating closely with International Trade Services to maximise membership and service income opportunities
- Responsible for reviewing customer services resources regularly
- Working with Senior Management colleagues collaboratively, for example, on membership pricing, driving interest in services and sponsorship
- Demonstrate leadership behaviours to support a proactive, effective, and supportive working environment
**About you**
Previous management experience is a must for this position with the ability to manage multiple projects and achieve personal and departmental sales targets. You will be an excellent leader with the ability to motivate people.
In addition, you should have previous experience in a consultative sales role with experience working to deadlines and achieving targets.
