**About the role**:
**Based in Waltham Forest (Hybrid),**you will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:

- Full responsibility for marketing and comms across the Destinations Department
- Leadership & team management
- To develop and implement the marketing and comms strategy and processes in line with the destinations strategy and 10 year plan to achieve the agreed destinations goals:

- Driving footfall and engagement
- Creating Impact
- Curating thriving diverse and inclusive destinations
- Growing our income streams
- Operating World Class Destinations
- Delivering fit for purpose assets
- To respond to the climate emergency

**About you**:

- Extensive experience of leading and managing complex multi-site customer-facing operations
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience of leading creative marketing/ and comms in a fast paced, outward facing organisation.
- Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset and entrepreneurial outlook
- Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial budget processes
- Knowledge of Waltham Forest (desirable)
- Experience of operating in a political environment (desirable)

**What’s on offer**
- **Salary: £440-£550+* per day, Inside IR35
