**Purchase Ledger Assistant**
Flannery Plant Hire is a leading provider of plant hire and specialist attachments to the construction industry across the UK and Ireland. With a comprehensive fleet of innovative machinery, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and meeting our clients' project requirements.
**LOCATION: Full time within our Wembley Office.**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Stamp and code large volume of supplier invoices
- Post them on the system daily
- Matching invoice with purchase order Experience and skills required
- Requesting Supplier statements and produce supplier reconciliation on a daily basis
- Receiving supplier calls and responding appropriately
- Attach recharges to x-hire supplier invoices correctly
- Update and maintain the supplier contacts on Opera regularly
- Send out suspension letters during Christmas and the year for bank holiday notification
- Assist in preparing weekly payments as required
- Preparing payments for authorisation via BACS
- Dealing & resolving with all supplier queries and/or disputes
- Supporting during the year end audit
- Reviewing procedures and processes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Filing of cleared invoices and maintaining the system
- Competent IT skills with good knowledge of Excel
- Can work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Interpersonal, communication and teamworking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Construction background would be advantage but not necessary
