We're looking for a competent and energetic person to work alongside and report into our Maintenance Manager. This is a varied role for those who have a love of decorating and DIY and want to be a part of an on-going refurbishment project.

We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to play a vital role in delivering a great guest experience to all our guests. They must have a keen eye for detail, an organised approach and a willingness to exceed our guest expectation. Internal duties will include plaster repairs, wallpapering and painting. Also the general upkeep of the interior of the hotels bedrooms and public areas. During busy periods when rooms may not be accessible we have plenty of other works available throughout the hotel including porterage, gardening, minor repairs and assisting the Maintenance Manager with due diligence checks.

Our Maintenance Assistants are hardworking individuals who can work on their own initiative, work well as a part of a team and follow instruction closely to ensure the success of the department and the business as a whole.

This vacancy is ideal for those currently in a similar role, although applicants from any maintenance background are also welcomed along with those who have succeeded in home renovation projects in the past. They will be able to demonstrate sound problem solving skills and are commitment to delivering our core standards, providing our guests with a great stay every time.

Hours of work are flexible, we provide free car parking, uniform, tools, meals on duty and discounts on stays both in house and at our other sites.

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour
