This is an excellent opportunity to join EDF Energy as a Deal Coordinator. You’ll be working in Customers, contributing to Helping Britain Achieve Net Zero, and contributing to us become a leading player in EDF Business Solutions; one of the four markets we operate in - Wholesale, Residential and SME, EDF Business Solutions and Field Services. EDF Business Solutions (EBS) is a top three player in our three core markets: Energy Supply, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Electricity Metering. EBS has projected revenue of more than £10bn and is targeted to deliver positive EBIT for EDF.

You’ll be mainly working from home therefore we are flexible on where you are located within the UK however, the team often meet up at either our Office in Exeter or London. We support you to work flexibly from home (providing a suite of IT equipment), whilst coming together on site to offer face to face support and collaboration when necessary.

**The opportunity**

As the Deal Structurer you’ll be responsible for facilitating the tendering, structuring, negotiation and execution of high value contracts for EDF Energy’s major industrial, commercial and public sector customers and prospects.

You’ll be required to manage internal governance and policies (including liaison with relevant internal teams such as Pricing, Legal and Credit), in relation to contracting activity and conducting ongoing contract management services post-sale.

You’ll become a point of reference for commercial contract management and commercial dispute resolution. You will support the Deal Structuring Manager and the I&C Sales organisation in providing industry leading commercial tender submissions.

You will also manage interfaces across I&C, Risk, Legal and Wholesale Market Optimisation. The team will take lead responsibility for supporting the transition of secured contracts into the various operational teams required to deliver ongoing support.

You will manage end to end commercial negotiations from bid set up and administration, through to gaining relevant approvals and issuing tender and contract documentation. You’ll also be responsible for managing the completion of accurate and compelling tender responses, preparing and negotiating terms and conditions, and coordinating the production of a competitive customer price.

The key objective of Deal Structuring is to correctly identify the risks and opportunities associated with a fast moving market, bespoke customer requirements and future trends to effectively control the future profitability of Large Business. You will be a key part of achieving this.
